55-yr-old man dies in road accident

VARANASI: A 55-year-old person Abhayraj Yadav, native of Jaunpur district, was run over by a speeding vehicle near Marui village in Cholapur police station area on Friday. He died on the spot. According to reports, he was going somewhere on his bicycle when the mishap occurred.
Three sustain burns: Following a family dispute a 42-year-old women Lalita Devi torched herself by pouring kerosene oil in Sarai Nandan Khojwa locality in Bhelupur area on Friday.Her daughter Puja (17) and a woman Gudiya, living in neighbourhood, also sustained burns in a bid to save her. They were rushed to divisional hospital, where condition of Lalita was stated to be critical.
