Apologise, Martin Wambora tells Boni Khalwale

Embu Governor Martin Wambora on Friday demanded an apology from Senator Boni Khalwale for saying the House does not recognise him.

The remarks by the Kakamega Senator had slighted the people of Embu county since he was still the bona fide head of the county, said Mr Wambora.

Speaking when he launched 10 irrigation and street lighting projects in Manyatta and Runyenjes constituencies, Mr Wambora said his lawyer had written to the Senate informing it of his intention to sue.

Runyenjes county assembly member Steve Simba termed Dr Khalwale’s remarks unfortunate and an “insult” to the people of Embu county.

He said Mr Wambora election as governor of Embu had not been nullified.
