Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Gandhinagar Hemanth Kumar has been repatriated to Public Works Department for his failure to respond to the plight of residents affected by rain on Thursday night. Mayor N. Shanthakumari was critical of handling rain by the officials, sources said. She said, henceforth, Joint Commissioners and engineers concerned would be held responsible for any damage that rain causes in their jurisdiction.
