SINGAPORE - Osaka Exchange (OSE), a part of the Japan Exchange Group and Japan's largest derivatives exchange following integration with the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) in March, was named Exchange of the Year on Thursday by Futures and Options World, a magazine focused on derivatives market news. In an exclusive interview with the Nikkei, OSE President and Chief Executive Officer Hiromi Yamaji says diversification of products and trader profiles are key to increasing OSE's international presence.
Q: The merger with TSE resulted in OSE focusing only on derivatives. How has OSE adapted to the change?
