Prudhvi Raj was seen playing the role of a TV actor, Boiling Star Bablu, who ends up in trouble when he mistakes the goons for junior artistes in the TV industry. His antics, dialogues and performance on the whole has been praised by the critics and his role has become one of the highlights of the film.
Back in 2002, when he played a role in Krishna Vamsi's Khadgam, he became quite popular, thanks to one of his dialogues '30 years industry ikkada'. Although he has acted in scores of films over the years, it's only now that his performance has garnered so much attention. Directed by Sriwass, the film has Gopichand, Rakul Preet in lead roles whereas Sampath, Mukesh Rishi played the villains' roles. Anup Rubens had scored the music.
