Porbandar BJP MP Vitthal Radadia has decided to host wedding of his late son Kalpesh’s widow Manishaben to one Hardik Chovatia from Jamkandorna.
This is remarkable step by Radadia in orthodox and conservative society of rural Saurashtra.
Viththalbhai’s son Kalpesh(Kano) died recently on 11 January early this year. Late Kalpesh’s widow Manisha has 5 year old son Rahi and 3 year old daughter Jiya.
Kalpesh was settled in Surat with his younger brother Lalit for last 8 years.
Hardik who is now going to marry Manisha was late Kalpesh’s younger brother Lalit’s close friend.
Hardik’s father Amrutbhai lives in Jasapar village near Jamkandorna. He is into vegetable business.
Vitthalbhai has accepted Manishaben as his daughter. He is going to host Manishaben’s second marrige with Hardik Chovatia. Vitthalbhai will give away crores of Rs of property to Manishaben as ‘Kariavar’. This includes 200 bigha land at Jetpur taluka’s Jambudi village, and a newly constructed bungalow(which was for Kalpesh) in Surat where Hardik and Manisha will settle.
Vitthalbhai’s revolutionary step is being admired across Saurashtra. Manishaben’s father, Jivapar(Kalavad) based Shamjibhai Sanghani and others have also backed Vitthalbhai’s decision.
