L V Hiray college gets 'A' grade

NASHIK: The Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Mandir's Loknete Vyankatrao Hiray College, Panchavati, has been given the 'A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), making it the only college in the city to achieve this grading.
A NAAC team had assessed our college from August 11 to 13 and the result was declared at its executive meeting on Wednesday.Only two colleges in the state bagged 'A' grade this time, the other one being the Dayanand Mahavidyalay, Latur.
"LV Hiray College is one of the 12 colleges in the state and the only one under the University of Pune to have received this grade during the assessment this time," principal B S Jagdale said at a press conference on Thursday. "With this accreditation, LV Hiray has become one of the best colleges affiliated to the University of Pune. This grading is for five years and we will try our best to retain it," he added.
