Genelia D’Souza and Kriti Sanon likely to be part of Housefull 3

Eros International has announced Housefull 3, the third franchise of the hit Housefull series. And though the actors have been confirmed as Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan (new addition) and Riteish Deshmukh there is speculation about who will be cast as female leads. The buzz is that Genelia D’Souza and Kriti Sanon of Heropanti fame are likely to be part of the comedy. If true, it wil be interesting to see if Genelia will be paired opposite her husband Riteish. Sanon is briskly making her way up and has been signed opposite Akshay Kumar in Singh Is Bling.
While Housefull had Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, Jiah Khan as the leading ladies, Housefull 2 had Asin, Jacqueline Fernandez, Zarine Khan and Shazahn Padamsee. This time, however the makers are planning to rope in several heroines. “They may outnumber the men,” said a source close to the project.
Eros has teamed up with Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment for Housefull 3. Though the first two were helmed by Sajid Khan, it is writers-turned-director duo Sajid-Farhad who will direct the third franchise.
The laugh riot which is slated to take off in December or early January next year will be shot on a lavish scale in the UK. The film is slated for a 2015 release.
