Saudia Cargo appoints ECS as exclusive GSSA in India

SAUDI AIRLINES Cargo has appointed ECS Globe Air Cargo India as its sole general sales and services agent, writes Thelma Etim, deputy editor.

“We look forward to working jointly with ECS to further develop our business in India. I am confident that together with their efforts, our clients in India will benefit from this exclusive partnership,” says Keku Gazder, regional director for the airline in the Indian sub-continent.

ECS operates 10 offices at major domestic and international airports in the region, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Cochin and Calicut. The company supports two freighter flights and 54 passenger flights for the carrier.

“ECS India is honored and happy to be the GSSA for Saudia Cargo in India,” says ECS Globed Air’s Rajendra Dubey, director of India. “We have a young and dynamic team who will put forth their best efforts for the continued growth of Saudia Cargo.”

Saudi Airlines Cargo operates 15 freighters and sells the belly-capacity on 145 passenger aircraft of Saudi Arabia’s flag carrier Saudia in its 225 global network destinations. In addition to its scheduled freighter services, the carrier also provides charter flights from a growing fleet of dedicated charter aircraft.
