The Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) will commence issuing of advance current tickets at its stations and from JTBS (Jansadharan Ticket Booking Sevak) counters at city locations along Konkan Railway route from September 26.
This will enable passengers to purchase current ticket for trains 3 days in advance (excluding the day of journey) for journeys equal to or more than 200 kms., said a spokesperson of KRCL on Wednesday.
If such an advance ticket is presented for refund upto 24:00 hours (midnight) of the day preceding the day of journey, refund shall be made on every such ticket after deducting the processing-charges.
