Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalayas have extended an opportunity for admission to class VI during 2015-16 for children currently studying in class V in their respective district.

Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalayas have extended an opportunity for admission to class VI during 2015-16 for children currently studying in class V in their respective district. Children born between May 1, 2002 and April 30, 2006, passed III, IV and currently studying in class V from any school recognized by Government are eligible for admission.
The Test for the Vidyalaya would be conducted on February 7, 2015 (Saturday) in all the districts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karanataka, Kerala and UT of Yanam, Paducherry, Karaikkal, Mahe, Minicoy, North and Middle Andaman and Car Nicobar.

The test will be of objective type test of two hours duration carrying 100 marks with 50% weightage for mental Ability, 25% for Arithmetic and 25% for Language. The application can also be downloaded from Website www.navodayagov.in and www.navodayad.gov.in in . Application form duly filled in must be submitted to the Block Education Officer of the concerned block of the district, where the Vidyalaya is located on or before 31st October 2014 says an official press release by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samithi.
