A pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck in Dedham early Tuesday morning.The victim has been identified as Anne McIntyre, 70, of Dedham.Police say McIntyre was crossing High Street to attend Mass at St. Mary's, when she was struck by a pickup truck.Police found her lying in the church parking lot. She was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. McIntyre was in the crosswalk at the time of the crash. Officials said solar glare may have contributed to the crash.The driver of the pickup truck, a 25-year-old man, was also taken to the hospital as a precaution. Police said the driver was emotionally distressed.10978732
