MBA student hangs himself on his birthday

BHOPAL: A 23-year-old MBA student committed suicide by hanging himself at his home in Ayodhya Nagar on Monday that happened to be his birthday. Youth was found hanging by a cousin when she went to wish him on his birthday.
He was rushed to hospital where he succumbed by evening.
Reason why the youth opted for the extreme step is not clear to police.No suicide note was found from the spot, police officials said.
Police said Vikrant Sharma lived in Narmada campus in Durgesh Vihar area. He was a studying in third semester in a private college in city and was the only child of his parents.
Police said Vikrant's cousin went to his house and inquired about him from his mother who told her that he was studying on the first floor. She went upstairs to wish him but failed to find him. Later, she checked the roof, where she spotted him hanging.
The girl raised an alarm after which Vikrant was rushed to a hospital where he died.
Police said his parents are not in a condition to give statement. FSL team visited the spot but could not found anything concrete and investigations are underway.
