The All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), in its earlier notification had announced that students who have been allotted Jammu and Srinagar as their test center can opt for alternate centers.

However, according to the latest update, candidates need to note that the test will be held as per schedule, released on their official website.

The move was taken due to the flood situation in the region. However, since the situation in Jammu has improved now, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has decided to conduct the examination according to its previous schedules.

All the candidates of Jammu have to appear for the CMAT September 2015-16 First Test as per their current admit card. No rescheduling will be done for Jammu candidates as the situation there has considerably become stable and AICTE has therefore decided to go ahead with the exam.

However, considering the present situation in Srinagar after the natural calamity due to floods, the CMAT 2015-16 (FT) scheduled at Government Polytechnic for Women, Srinagar on 27th and 28th September 2014 has been cancelled owing to the still disturbed situation there. All the candidates issued admit cards for this centre have now been allotted new ones which they can procure from http://www.aicte-cmat.in
