New Delhi: Mahindra has launched an updated version of its Xylo MPV at Rs 7.52 lakh for the BS III variant while the BSIV variants price starts at Rs 7.66 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra has launched the facelift MPV in two diesel engine options and five trim levels including D2, D4, H4, H8 and H9. Beside few cosmetic changes, the Mahindra Xylo facelift also offers few mechanical modifications and some additional features.
The facelift version now includes a set of chrome accent pieces on the bonnet and the tail gate. A new set of body graphics promises to make the aging Xylo a fresh look. Other external modifications comprise of newly designed alloy wheels and new roof-rails.
On the inside, Xylo facelift offers new black-beige colour scheme complemented by new upholstery.
Additional features inside the cabin include a Bluetooth-enabled double-DIN audio system with voice commands, a new instrument cluster and steering-mounted audio and cruise controls. The revamped model also comes with 60:40 third row, electric wing mirrors, front dual airbags, Anti-Lock-Braking system with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and reversing assist with digital display.
The fully-loaded Xylo features a 2.5 litre, CRDe engine capable of developing top power of 93.7 Bhp, the engine is available on D2 and D4 trims in either BSIII or BSIV variants. A 2.2 litre mHAWK engine has been borrowed from Scorpio features in the H4, H8 and H9 trims. The engine offers maximum power output of 118 Bhp and is matched to a 5MT320 five-speed manual transmission.
The model also comes with revised suspension for enhanced ride quality.
