GEGE IS READY TO WORK, BUT ...

Sir,

My honourable minister we are still appealing to our government and the countries’ authorities to consider our plea of tarring the Sicunusa-Nhlangano road.

Indeed it happened, but having said that, things are not going well minister.
People were never compensated as per the initial agreement. People were told to move their graves to pave way for this project but they were not compensated. Why?

The project is very slow it seems it is going to take many years.
What is happening because if you go around and investigate, it seems the problem is with your department now?
Can the honourable Minister of Works please offer clarity on this issue?

I am happy because the minister is touring our roads to familiarise herself with the progress and what still needs to be done.
I believe she can answer this one. Let us change as a country and government should leave behind the attitude of failing to complete projects as we are heading for 2022.

Let us be a new government with a vision that always fulfils and also delivers its mandate to the people.
My constituency officers in Gege, the MP and his team, promised us that they would work all out and of course they are men longing to work, to sacrifice for their constituency and the people who elected them.

In the last National General election we complied with government and the country’s authorities when saying we should go out there and play our part by casting our votes for the people we trust, to become the sort of politicians who are open to criticism and ready to listen to their electorate.
We have officers who have changed the constituency from being a zoo structure to a home for everyone, I think Gege is now ready to work.
I repeat that if the prime minister is busy looking for an active constituency, he should not waste his time by looking anywhere else and should just focus on Gege.

This readiness is further cemented by the project of the construction of the Sicunusa-Nhlangano road. Honourable prime minister we are ready to work hand in hand with your government.

We pray that the devil remains a liar and stops resurrecting government’s bad tendencies of failing to complete projects.
Remember PM, we are now implementing your action plan. We are also implementing your development unusual.
This place has been left behind for some years.

Thank God that we will be the first constituency to implement your action plan Honourable prime minister. Yes, we declare this day that we are more than ready.
It is high time we consider construction of roads as a priority in our country.
By completing the Sicunusa-Nhlangano, I will join the line of Swazis who are saying everybody is going to 2022 not individuals but all of us, including the people of Gege as they are prepared.

Can you imagine getting ready to take a journey, carrying your luggage and here comes a person and says you are not going today.
It is so painful. But I believe in my system of governance.
Tinkhundla were meant to make Swazis happy all the time.

Ronnie Dlamini, Gege
