Rashami-Shilpa to reprise Reema and Archana’s roles from Shriman Shrimati
A TV show loosely based on the sitcom Shriman Shrimati, which featured Reema Lagoo and Archana Puran Singh, is in the making. Actresses Rashami Desai and Shilpa Shinde have been finalised to play the roles of Reema and Archana, respectively.

The original show had Reema as a simple, yet intelligent housewife and Archana, as a film star. Says a source, “The only similarity between the two shows is the women competing with each other.Asif Sheikh will play Shilpa’s husband. Unlike Shilpa’s previous roles, she will play a modern working woman in the show.”
