Two youth found murdered

Allahabad: In a sensational incident, two youths were found brutally murdered near Pipri village under Pipri police station, Kaushambi district, on Tuesday. The deceased were identified as Mohammad Salman (20) and Anas (18), both residents of Baretha Moiuddinpur (Dhoomanganj) in Allahabad.
On Tuesday, the locals of Pipri and adjoining villages spotted the bodies of two youths lying near the village and therefore informed the police.Upon receiving information, senior police officials including DIG (range), SP (kaushambi), additional SP, deputy SP and station officer along with heavy police force reached the incident site to take the stock of situation.
DIG, Allahabad range, Bhagwan Swroop, who reached the spot after receiving the information, told TOI, “The police have started the investigation and a named FIR has also been lodged by the family members of the deceased.” The bodies have been sent for post mortem examination to ascertain the cause of death.
Police said that an FIR under section 302 of IPC has been lodged against Danish, Chotu, Jahid, Javed, Nuruddin and Alimuddin and two others, all are residents of Pipri village. Initial police investigation revealed that both the youths were shot dead at point blank range.
Police said that the exact reason behind the killings was yet to be ascertained but old enmity between two families was cited one of the reasons behind the murder. Police further added that “the detailed investigation would clear the entire picture”. The locals have asked police officers to crack down the incident at the earliest.
