Soon after news of Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo beating up a journalist hit the airwaves, there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel for the musician. Perhaps Kenzo’s life is not all about music and beating up journalists after all.
Word reaching us is that Kenzo is set to collaborate with Nigerian hit singer Davido (pictured) on a “Sitya loss” remix and this is definately going to be a huge one for Ugandan fans.
Seeing how big Diamond’s “Number one” became after he did a remix with Davido, this chance may also spring Kenzo to new markets and perhaps journalists will regard him higher.
According to Kenzo, he only attacked the journalist because he was asking very intimidating and personal questions.
“What have other artistes done for Uganda that makes you think you can compare them to me?” he had asked during the press conference. Only time will tell how big their remix gets.
