Andy Spahn, political and philanthropic consultant for clients including Jeffrey Katzenberg and Steven Spielberg, is changing the name of his firm to Gonring, Spahn & Associates, reflecting his partnership with Jennifer Gonring.
Gonring, who has been CEO of Andy Spahn & Associates, joined the company when it was founded in 2006. She previously worked with him at DreamWorks, where she oversaw corporate affairs and served as director of special projects. She is a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy and serves on the board of trustees of the Charles Edison Fund.
The firm specializes in government relations, issue advocacy, public relations and philanthropy.
Spahn was head of corporate affairs and communications for DreamWorks from 1994 to 2006. Before that, he was president of the David Geffen Foundation. He was co-founder and served as president of the Environmental Media Assn.
