Priyamani will be seen as CBI officer in a Kannada film

It is not only our M-town heroes who are seen picking roles of a police officer. Mollywood heroines too are trying their luck playing a cop. The recent one to be in the news is actress Priyamani, who will be seen as a CBI officer in a Kannada film.
The movie Vyoham helmed by RB Patnaik had its trailer launch recently. Priyamani, who had earlier played a police officer in a Telugu film says, “Vyoham is a political drama with an engaging script.It was nice to play Gayathri Rao; she intellectually handles all the situations and negotiates each case well. There is no hero-heroine concept here and all the actors are helping the script. Everybody will be able relate to the film and it is a kind of edge-of-your-seat thriller.”
The actress has completed the shoot of Sibi Malayil’s Njangalude Veettile Athidhikal in Malayalam. She plays actor Jayaram’s wife in this family entertainer. She says, "It was fun working with the team, a renowned director and co-star Jayaram. This is a heroine-centric film and a great story.”
Apart from her film projects, she plans to continue as a judge in the second season of a dance reality show.
