Canon was busy last week with the launch of its latest set of products, including the highly-anticipated EOS 7D Mark II DSLR at Photokina 2014.

Well, the company’s Aussie subsidiary has just introduced a new commercial called To the Ends of the Earth and it’s just mind-blowing.

Starring in the video is Canon Master Krystle Wright and we’re following her around in one of her adventures. Wright is an extreme sports photographer who never says no to a challenge or leaves her camera behind.

Throughout the video, Wright’s own voiceover offers some insight into what it means to blend the arts with sport, two things she has loved ever since she was a child.

We’re being showed footage of her free diving into deep waters or rock climbing, as her poignant voice describes the wonders and risks of her audacious lifestyle.

In order to capture the amazing images you can take a glimpse at in her portfolio, Wright went through some traumatic experiences, like having her front teeth broken off or having to deal with torn ligaments. But she’s happy to do all this in the name of her true passion, art.
