MONTESSORI SPRING WALK

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

Cricket Mbabane is all set for the Montessori Life Primary Spring Walk in October 11, 2014.
The cricket development team graced the event last year, 2013, and loved it so much that it vowed to do it again this year.

PROMOTING THE BRAND

The Spring Walk is set in such a way that there are two routes adjacent to each other, one for 5 kilometres and the other a 10 kilometre route.
Cricket Mbabane will, for the second time, take the 10km route; I mean, it is a sports team after all.
The most important thing in participating in this event for the team is to promote its brand, promote cricket to the participants and the nation at large and play the game in the Montessori Life Primary cricket nets teaching those interested the basics of playing the game.
The team had 12 members for the event composed by 10 girls and 2 boys.
The male members of the team were busy with their Form III examinations while the girls had not yet started their examinations at that time thus making the largest number. The reverse will be true this year as the girls will be sitting for their Form 5 examinations. At least 15 members of the team are expected to participate this year.

GREENS IN
 SPRING

As they walk, the Cricket Mbabane team puts on and carries cricketing equipment to show the participants what they are all about and in so doing enjoy the physical fitness undertaking and the view of the nature, green and flowery with the scent of spring at disposal.
Celebrating nature is bliss in spring as we are immediately from, arguably, the harsh conditions of the winter season that leaves everyone and everything dry, literally.

CLUBS’
OUTING

As Cricket Mbabane, we would like to urge other sporting clubs to participate in this beautiful event for it encourages the individuals in that sport discipline to celebrate nature and it also becomes an outing for the team or a team building exercise at the least.

VISIONCARE
OPTOMETRISTS

Cricket Mbabane is proudly sponsored by Visioncare Optometrists to participate in the Montessori Life Primary Spring Walk 2014 and we would like to thank them for the wonderful support as they sponsored it even last year.
 OUR COMPETITION

The Multimedia Int’l competition’s continuity suffered a major blow the past two months as Cricket Mbabane had events that required a financial commitment and could not allocate funds for the competition prize. The competition will continue for the month of October, we are very sorry for the inconvenience.
