Medical students demand relocation to other colleges

JALANDHAR: Students of first batch of MBBS at Chintpurni Medical College, Pathankot, have demanded that the Punjab government should expedite the process of their shifting to other colleges as recommended by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences after the Medical Council of India refused to give recognition to the college for further admissions. As they converged here from across the state to raise the issue, the students claimed that they were losing study time and were to appear for examination in the next few months.
