Running back Ryan Mathews was carted off the field with a knee injury last week against the Seattle Seahawks. Mathews could reportedly miss four to five weeks.

Mathews and Woodhead accounted for 118 of the Chargers' 153 rushing yards through the team's first two games.

Third string back Donald Brown was San Diego's top ball carrier Sunday. He had 31 carries for 62 yards.
