An Italian-flagged ferry with 762 people on board ran aground early Sunday on an islet off Corfu island at the Ionian Sea in western Greece, Greek authorities said.

There were no injuries or water on an alarming level on the vessel Europalink, which safely reached the port on the island later, the Greek Coast Guard said.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident, as experts checked the extent of the damage. Endi
