Court sets conditions for decoration of Bhagyalakshmi temple

September 21, 2014 11:50 am | Updated 11:50 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Justice Nooty Ramamohana Rao of the Hyderabad High Court on Saturday while permitting decoration for the Bhagyalakshmi Temple near Charminar Hyderabad for Dasara and Deepavali festivals made it clear that no additions to the present structure shall be allowed.

The judge was passing these orders on a writ petition filed by the managers of Bhagyalakshmi Temple. They told the court that last year they had put up temporary decoration material for Dasara and Deepavali as per court orders and there has been no complaint from any quarter. The bamboo poles and plastic sheets used have been damaged and torn. The devotees were not able to have darshan of the deity this rainy season. The court was requested to permit the decoration for the festivals this year.
