Mandolin Srinivas' demise leaves DSP shell-shocked

The sudden demise of revered musician, Mandolin Srinivas has come as a huge shock to the entire music fraternity. He passed away on September 19, after a failed liver transplant at a hospital in Chennai. While several celebrities including A R Rahman, Lata Mangeshkar and SP Balu offered their condolences, his demise left music director Devi Sri Prasad shell-shocked. Reports from Chennai suggest that DSP had rushed to the hospital immediately after he heard about Srinivas' death yesterday afternoon and he spent several hours there.Later, he took to his official page to offer his condolences saying, "Today is the saddest day of my life..My Guru,inspiration,idol Maestro Mandolin Srinivas Anna passed away..Greatest Human Being!! R.I.P Anna :((( (sic)."
