Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro

Although it's been several years since Lenovo bought out IBM's hardware division, it has had a tough time leveraging itself into a premium computing category outside the ThinkPad brand.

It is trying to elbow its way in to the 'convertible' market with a series of light touchscreen laptops that double up as tablets. The upcoming 13-inch Yoga 3 Pro is case in point.

It has up to 8GB of Ram and up to 512GB in a solid state hard drive, both huge metrics for convertible devices. Like a few of its rivals, it converts from a laptop into a tablet (and vice versa) via a central hinge. For me, 13-inch touchscreens appeal to very niche business audiences, principally in the artistic or construction industries.
