LAHORE: NHMP IG Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema has urged his team to continue with maintaining traffic discipline.
He was addressing Police Darbar in Okara. DIG Bashir Ahmad Memon , SSP Muhammed Inksar Khan and other officers  were present on the occasion .
IG Cheema said the patrolling officer would enforce the traffic and regulation without any discrimination and fear. He said traffic violation can be controlled by effective enforcement, quality briefing and holding meetings with transporters. He said about 230 Police Officer promotions have been regularized in NH&MP. Honesty is our belief and courtesy and rendering help to road users is our recognition these core values should be continue with any cost. The NH&MP IG also listened to the problems faced by the officers and issued necessary instructions to redress their grievances.
