Indian Formula One Team Sahara Force India, co-owned by Dr. Vijay Mallya, will host the MIA School of Race Engineering at its headquarters in Silverstone, Britain. The event will take place from September 27-28 this year.

MIA, or the Motorsport Industry Association, is the world's leading trade association for motorsport and engineering service. Chris Aylett, CEO of the MIA, said, "We are delighted to be working with Sahara Force India to deliver our first School of Race Engineering using F1 simulation. It will allow our engineers of tomorrow to not only develop their knowledge."

Further, he said, "They also have a rare opportunity to take part in a tutorial with Sahara Force India's Vehicle Science department, within the F1 simulator, which will be a fascinating experience and opportunity for these future race engineers."

At present, Force India is well placed on the Manufacturers' Championship points table, below Ferrari and McLaren Mercedes. A single point separates the Indian team and McLaren.

MIA is aimed at young individuals, who want to develop a future in race engineering. The school is open to students from all from around the world, giving a platform to individuals in a highly competitive industry.
