Win Over Easy egg-recipe contest for year of free eggs

Crack the eggs, grab your whisk and enter the third annual Over Easy Broken Egg Breakfast Challenge.

Share your favorite egg recipe for a chance to win the contest and a dozen eggs a week for a year from Hickman's. The family-owned Arizona egg farmer is sponsoring the competition, which benefits St. Mary's Food Bank.

Two recipe finalists will be selected and featured at a reception at Over Easy's Phoenix location in Arcadia. The reception, sometime in November, will be open to the public for a donation to the food bank.

The contest goal is to raise about $2,500 for the food bank to help feed the hungry.

The winning egg recipe also will be featured on the 2015 menu at the Valley's four Over Easy restaurants, in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Gilbert and Mesa.

Entries will be accepted Monday, Sept. 22, through Wednesday, Oct. 22. E-mail them to contest@eatatovereasy.com. Recipes are judged based on flavor, ingredients, creativity and presentation.
