Two MHADA officials arrested

The state anti-corruption bureau (ACB), on Thursday, arrested two officials of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) for accepting bribe.

PUNE: The state anti-corruption bureau (ACB), on Thursday, arrested two officials of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) for accepting bribe.
The MHADA officials have been identified as property manager Jogindersingh Rajput (47) and assistant clerk Pradeep Kale (54).
ACB said the complainant had given power of authority to his friend to register the inheritance of MHADA flat in his name.
Rajput and Kale allegedly demanded Rs 6,500 for doing the needful.
The ACB officials caught them red-handed while accepting bribe from the complainant on Thursday afternoon. A case has been registered under sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
