JAIPUR: The Rajasthan High court has issued notices to Board of Control for Cricket in India (Band the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) after more than 75 players approached the court complaining that due to the ongoing dispute between the two organizations they were denied their chance to play cricket and their future is at stake.
Justice Manish Bhandari issued notices to the RCA and the BCCI to be returnable within a week.

The petition moved by Nikhil Doru signed by about more than 75 players said though they were shortlisted by the RCA for various competitions they were unable to participate in any of the national competitions as the BCCI has suspended the RCA after Lalit Modi has become the RCA president.
The BCCI conducts competitions for Under 16, Under 19 and Under 23 at the national level but none of the Rajasthan players were able to participate in the competition after the suspension. The counsels for the petitioners Subir Gupta and Sachin Metha argued that the players have nothing to do with the dispute and banning them from competitions is unjustified.
