Upendra 2 to release in Telugu

Fifteen years ago Kannada star Upendra shot into reckoning in Telugu cinema with the success of the dubbed version of the film Upendra. The actor is hoping to recreate the magic again onscreen with a sequel to the film, Upendra 2. The 45-year-old actor is also directing the movie which will mark his comeback into Telugu cinema after a hiatus of seven years.
���Tollywood is like second home to me.There was a time when I enjoyed as big a fan following among Telugu audiences as I did in Kannada. But I got busy with my career in Kannada film industry and couldn���t concentrate on Tollywood. I���m going to release the sequel to Upendra in Telugu as well,��� says the actor, who is planning to focus on building his market in Tollywood. ���From now on, I will make sure that all my Kannada films are released in Telugu as well,��� he adds.
