Zico for FC Goa

Brazilian Arthur Antunes Coimbra, popularly known as Zico and White Pele, will be manager/head coach of FC Goa in the Hero-Indian Super League (HISL) set to start next month. 

Zico signed the contract in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday. According to a press release, representatives of FC Goa will travel to Brazil shortly to help Zico complete his travel formalities.

The owners of FC Goa Shrinivas Dempo, Dattaraj Salgaocar and Venugopal Dhoot, issued a joint statement saying, “We welcome Zico to FC Goa. It’s a proud moment for the franchise and we are honoured that a football legend of the stature of Zico had agreed to coach FC Goa.”
