M&T Names Gold Chief Risk Officer as Truslow Retires

M&T Bank Corp., the lender struggling to complete its purchase of Hudson City Bancorp, named Richard S. Gold as chief risk officer and vice chairman.

Gold replaces Donald K. Truslow, 56, who’s retiring, Buffalo, New York-based M&T said today in a statementBloomberg Terminal. Gold previously served on the management committee and oversees the office of regulatory projects, according to the statement.
