Engineers asked to stick to timeline for master plan for roads

Engineers to take up development of plan to avoid delay and conflicts

Visakhapatnam: In-charge vice-chairman of Vuda M.V. Satyanarayana directed the engineers to take up development of Master Plan Roads only after approval of the Road Development Plan (RDP) to avoid delay and conflicts.

Reviewing the progress of the Master Plan roads and other works of Vuda with the engineers on Wednesday, the vice-chairman insisted coordination with the local bodies and officials of concerned departments in finalising the RDP while proposing Master Plan roads in their areas.

Since the development of MP Roads is one of the most important activities of Vuda and involving crores of public money, the engineers were told to stick to timelines in completing them in time. While discussing on the Master Plan roads taken up in GVMC limits, the vice-chairman said the RDPs for Kommadi, Endada, Bakkannapalem and Nagarampalem roads are ready with the GVMC.
