Deborah Lippmann to show anniversary box at Barneys

Nail polish queen Deborah Lippmann is celebrating the 15-year anniversary of her niche line, a celebrity favorite, with a special commemorative collection of 15 exclusive colors, as Melissa Magsaysay reported here recently.

Lippmann’s slated to show the anniversary Music Box collection and launch an exclusive Barneys New York collection from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 27 at Barneys in Beverly Hills. Customers can book a personal consultation with her by calling (310) 276-4400, Ext. 5606.

Jewelry and watch boutiques on Rodeo Drive are holding an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday as part of the weeklong Rodeo Drive Festival of Watches & Jewelry that began Sept. 14. Participating stores will have special events and new collection launches. Participants in the festival include Breguet, Cartier, Harry Winston, Jason of Beverly Hills, Porsche Design, Vacheron Constantin and Van Cleef & Arpels. Downtown L.A. is getting a new weekly marketplace for vintage, collectibles and curated crafted goods. The Odd Market at Casa Vertigo is scheduled to launch Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. Casa Vertigo, 1828 Oak St., and is to take place every Sunday. The weekly events will feature up to 88 crafters. live music and food trucks. General admission is $5 and preferred admission, which includes preferred parking, no-line entry and a gift, is $15. Ticket may be purchased at the door or online.

Montreal leather goods designer and manufacturer m0851 has opened a store at 1426 Montana Ave., Unit 2, Santa Monica. The 27-year-old company, formerly known as Rugby North America, makes bags, accessories, jackets and other outerwear. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

New York fashion and lifestyle retailer Oak has opened a West Coast flagship at 7228 Beverly Blvd., in the Beverly Grove neighborhood of Los Angeles. Oak’s offerings include its own label as well as an eclectic mix of other brands for men and women. Hours are 11 a.m to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Men’s outfitter Stag, based in Austin, Texas, has opened an apparel and lifestyle store in Venice. The 3,500-square-foot store is at 1338 Abbot Kinney Blvd., and it includes a loft meant for special events. The store is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Sample sales

Women’s clothier Cheyann Benedict, Tori Praver Swimwear, Shimmi (which also sells swimwear) and Neon Rae (caps and moccasins for kids) are teaming for a sample sale Thursday through Saturday at 318 N. La Brea, Los Angeles. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

Pop-ups

Faircloth & Supply, a label founded by Phoebe Dahl that makes easy, seasonless women’s clothing, is operating a pop-up shop from 11 a.m to 7 p.m. daily at 3112 W. Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, through Oct. 4. For every garment sold, the label donates a school uniform to a girl in Nepal.
