Money pushes theatre artistes to films: Abhija

Theatre artiste Abhija had starred in Rajeev Ravi’s recent film Njan Steve Lopez. Speaking to a South Indian daily, she said that money is the factor that pushes theatre artistes to filmdom these days.
She explained that compared to theatre, films pay well. Unlike in the past, it is apparently not difficult for theatre artistes to act in films or tone down their performance.Njan Steve Lopez had roped in many artistes from the theatre circuit to play its parts.
