To be located at the Sandton Eye, the Aficionado Pop Up Bar will be an invitation-only experience. "The brand, described as rum like no other with its story and depth of flavour, will set a new standard for the way the South African industry experiences luxury in the emerging premium drinking experience economy," says Dominic Mearing.
The bar will have finishes of natural origin combined with the texture of rich fabrics, while scents of vanilla and cigars create an atmosphere, transporting guests through the brand's history, alchemy and flavour profile.
With a number of different rooms, it will transform a 300m2 space into an intimate and luxurious venue, espousing the rustic elegance of an authentic old-town Guatemalan bar.
