Reality star Katherine Webb marries NFL player AJ McCarron in lavish ceremony

Webb (25), who shot to fame in 2012 when she was spotted in the audience cheering on her boyfriend who was then a quarterback at the University of Alabama, is a former Miss Alabama.

While she may have missed out on the Miss USA crown, she was plucked from relative obscurity thanks to ESPN's very enthusiastic coverage of her in the stands in 2013.

She and her boyfriend of two years wed in a lavish ceremony in their home state two months ago, but have only shared the images through social media now.

AJ hired a professional photographer to capture the moment he proposed in March of this year.

Katherine wore a custom-made gown by Sherri Hill as she exchanged vows with McCarron, who is now a quarterback with the Cincinnati Bengals.

"I wanted to make sure [the wedding] looked like a dream, something I was walking into that I would only imagine in my dream," she told Extra of her decor for the big day.

"I love being married to AJ, and I had my dream wedding, so I feel so blessed and lucky."

Webb previously featured on the US version of Splash!, the celebrity diving show.
