Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapoor visited the Delhi University campus canteens on Monday to give film promotions a new twist. The university visit was part of an ongoing All-India Food Yatra, a campaign started by the makers of upcoming film Daawat-e-Ishq.

Although the stars were initially scheduled to taste food at four college canteens, Parineeti and Aditya could make it to just two-Miranda House and Ramjas College-owing to a drastic delay in their scheduled arrival that left fans and media a tad restless, but did not bring their excitement levels down.

The first stop was at Miranda, where thousands of girls went into a frenzy at the sight of Aditya who looked dapper in a simple tee teamed with bright mustard pants and a jacket. No sooner did Aditya arrive than the crowd started crooning hit song Tum Hi Ho from his last year's blockbuster film Aashiqui 2.

The two actors along with students feasted on idlis, pakoras, uttapams and vadas among other canteen delights. The young stars concluded their feastful day with a typical Punjabi meal at the famous Rajendar Da Dhaba. In sync with the film's mushy theme, Parineeti was dressed in a white sleeveless tee that had a big pink heart sketched on it. Spontaneous as ever, the duo posed for selfies with students at both the colleges.

The Daawat-e-Ishq Food Yatra started off in Mumbai and then headed to Surat, Vadodara, Jaipur and Agra before making a pit stop in Delhi. While the two stars visited restaurants in the other cities, the unique idea of visiting the DU campus cropped up because of the high reputation of these colleges' canteens.
