Promodome wins creative mandates for ONGC, IGL and NBCC

The agency is based in Delhi and provides 360-degree solutions.

Promodome Communications, a Delhi based advertising agency, has won three accounts of PSU clients. In April 2014, the agency bagged the ONGC account in a multi-agency pitch in which over 70 agencies applied. Promodome has been given the company's advertising and events mandate as an agency on its panel for both. It also won the Indraprastha Gas account beating off 11 other contestants.

Earlier in the year, the agency was included on another PSU's panel of agencies - the National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC). It was only a couple of years ago that Promodome made a conscious decision to pursue Government business, specifically the PSU business. "The reasons are simple - PSU advertising is no longer the boring advertising of about 10-15 years ago, the budgets and exposure are both fairly good, and the money is safe. Also, the current set of top people in PSUs are a delight to work with - they have the necessary understanding and exposure to communication across a 360-degree span, and are no longer caught up in the old style bureaucratic mind set," says Sandiip Kapur, president, Promodome Communications.

A full service advertising agency, Promodome has national, international as well as regional-level clients like Maruti, Dilbagh Pan Masala, CII, Bata, Intel, NEC, Manav Rachna, Polycom, AIMA, BSNL, BSNL, IGNOU and PNB. The agency has also won a significant number of PSU accounts like DDA, Delhi Police, Power Grid, HUDCO, IIFCL and Himachal Tourism.
