JKAACL organizes Dogri Kahani Goshthi

JAMMU, Sept 16: J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Jammu in collaboration with Model Institute of Education and Research, organized a Dogri Kahani Goshthi in the auditorium of MIER, here today.
Prof Veena Gupta, renowned Dogri Linguist Scholar and Critic presided over the function, while Arun Gupta, Chairman of MIER was the chief guest. Renu Gupta and Dr Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary Jammu were also present on the occasion.
Dr Gupta while speaking on the occasion, said that the new generation hardly gets time for such type of literary activities, which otherwise, play a vital role in all round development of a child.
Prof Veena appreciated the role of the Academy in promoting Art, Culture and Languages by reaching at the doorsteps of the concerned quarters.
Earlier, Dr Arvinder presented welcome address and threw light on the aims and objectives of literary actitivies.
The short-story writers who participated in the function were Prof Lalit Magotra, Dr Om Goswami, Chatterpaul, Inderjeet Kesar and Neeru Sharma.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Ashok Gupta, Editor Dogri, while the vote of thanks was presented by Renu Gupta, Principal MIER.
