Chris Brown has released the music video for "Don't Be Gone Too Long," featuring a guest spot from Ariana Grande. In the medieval-themed vid, directed by Breezy, the pair share romantic scenes, with Ariana playing a princess.

"I directed this one also . . . Wanted to do something different," Chris wrote on Twitter.

The relationship is not approved by the powers that be, and Chris is locked up; however, he holds on and eventually escapes from prison to rekindle his romance with Grande.

"I dug a single seed into the ground / I hope it grows, grows / In a year or two if you're around / you'll see a rose, rose," coos Brown on the cut.

"Don't Be Gone Too Long" is available on Brown's upcoming album, X, although the LP version does not feature Grande. X drops Tuesday, September 16.
