Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor who is waiting with bated breath for the release of his latest film Haider, recently had some interesting things to say about his onscreen chemistry with ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor.

The Shahid-Kareena starrer Jab We Met, which will complete seven years next month went on to become the biggest blockbusters of the year 2007, however Shahid confessed that they were not really expecting such a monumental response from the audience.

While speaking to a leading daily, Shahid revealed that the low expectations from the film had to do with Shahid and Kareena's spate of bad luck as co-stars in previous films such as Fida (2004), 36 China Town (2006) and Chup Chup Ke (2006), none of which did wonders at the box office.

Shahid went on to say that the duo were indeed what could be termed as a 'flop pair' due to their unsuccessful collaborations. So he was surprised when people enjoyed watching them together in the epic rom-com Jab We Met.

Shahid apparently got a bit nostaltic thinking about the cult status that the film has recieved now, however he still gushes about the fact that it went on to become such a big hit.

Wonder what Bebo has to say about this!
