Fumihiko Ike is confident that the MoU will prove to be beneficial for both countries and help strengthen the automotive industry. The move supports broader cooperation and mutual assistance while working on country-specific projects. Cooperative dialogue will be maintained at both members and secretariat levels, with respect to economic, technical and other issues concerning auto industry.

The new MoU officially provides opportunities for information sharing between the two industry bodies. It reinforces an ongoing relationship between both organizations and is part of SIAM's commitment towards industry improvement. Incidentally, the new MoU comes at an opportune moment where the Indian and global auto industries are already on the rise and will aid further progress.
