I have a summer residence in Barda Street, Marsalforn. Over here there exists a big parking problem. Everyone parks as it pleases him or her without respecting garage or drive-in entrances. I informed the Żebbug local council about the problem and asked if they could create parking bays. The secretary told me she would bring up the issue at their next council meeting. She also told me that I was not the first one to complain about this.

A few days later I was told the decision was not to have parking bays because there would be fewer parking spaces.

In my opinion they were no help at all. This is a ridiculous excuse and a ridiculous decision.

We residents remain with the same problem.

So much for local councils!
