Pakistan Air Force continues rescue operation in flood affected areas

Islamabad- Six helicopters of Pakistan Air Force are carrying out rescue operations in flood affected areas in Punjab.According to a press release of the Air Force, the helicopters have rescued hundreds of people stranded in low lying areas. More than twenty-five thousand kilograms of dry ration, including flour, rice, pulses, dates, biscuits and mineral water have also been distributed among the flood affected people through these helicopters. A Crisis Control Cell has been established at Air Headquarters Islamabad to monitor the rescue activities.
